Ann gives lectures regularly on the Welsh 18th century artist Thomas Jones, having extensively researched his work for over twenty years,  and curated the exhibition Thomas Jones 1742 – 1803: An Artist Re-discovered at the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff in 2003, which then toured to the Whitworth Art Gallery, University of Manchester and finally to the National Gallery, London. Ann is currently preparing a new lecture on Penry Williams, the Welsh 19th century artist from Merthyr Tydfil who spent much of his career working in Italy and whose work she has been researching recently. She also lectures on the Pre-Raphaelite artist John Brett and his passion for Wales with the lecture John Brett in Wales: A Pre-Raphaelite on the Shores of Wales. Ann lectured on John Brett in Wales to the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion on 21 January 2015.  Enquiries for lectures on Welsh art from July 2021 can be made on the email below.
